Who is affected:
All of our customers at the datacenter in Iceland

Planned work:
During this maintenance window, our partner the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) will perform a router replacement in the datacenter where we are connected. During this time window several smaller maintenance works will be performed. We will disable the AMS-IX peering before these maintenance works to reduce impact. After the successfully completion, we will enable our AMS-IX peering again.

What to expect:
This will be a minor impact for us, because we will disable the AMS-IX peering to reduce a possible impact for our customers. You might experience some packet loss and increase of latency during this time window when we disable the routing via the AMS-IX.

During this maintenance window, we will perform a regular software upgrade on our second router and change some interface configurations for future expansions.

What to expect:
This will be a minor impact, we will remove the routing via this router, to reduce a possible impact for our customers. You might experience some packet loss and increase of latency during this time window. This will only affect external connections, all internal traffic is unaffected.
